Hi to all "Newbies" to Quantum-Touch,

Welcome to the Qunatum-Touch message board and the wonderful world of QT.

Here you can expect to receive lots of information, support and loving guidance.
There are many folks here that have the answers to your questions, or we'll help you look for them.
Many who start out with QT have lots of similar questions on the process: Am I doing it right? What if I don't "feel" anything? ...
Especially if they are learning from a book or by themself.

Several reminders for everyone are:

1) Keep the breathing and sweeping going - continuously

2) Keep the hands relaxed, loose, fluid, soft. We're not holding, we're surrounding the area with the lightest touch

3) Drink plenty of pure water. This is important for your client too since QT can release toxins we'll want to flush out

4) YOU are not the healer. The client is. You are offering a field of higher energy/vibration for the client/healer to entrain to that will help them accelerate their own healing

5) Quantum Touch can do no harm. That's not to say that a client might not experience a temporary increse in pain or discomfort. This would happen even without QT. It's important when that does happen to keep going. Encourage your client to allow you to continue to run the energy since you are probably close to a breakthru in healing

6) Remember the importance of love and intention

7) Have fun with QT. Offer it to anyone and everyone who is hurting. You could say, "I'm just learning this new technique. I don't know if it will help, but would you let me practice on you?"

Ah friend, there's so much more I could say but I don't want to scare you off or overwhelm you.

P.S. My husband Rick and I have been involved with QT since April of 2001. I am a Certified Practitioner and he is a Cerified Instructor/Practitioner.

P.P.S. Learning from the book is good. Learning from the video workshop is better. If you can take a Live Basic Workshop, well this is hands down the best way to learn.

Are you the moderator of this forum? Just wanted to suggest that it would be a good idea to put this forum right after the General Forum, IMHO - newbies will probably have been waylaid by the forums that come before this one before they ever notice it!

(Or should I address this suggested to QT Amin?)

May you grow and learn much from this board. Great to have you. Ince you have read the book fire away with questions about things you may not fully understand. I learnt from the book but learnt even more when I took a live class. You can do great things just from the exercises in the book, however.

Oooooo love your name. When my first son was born he was going to be named Shala if he was a girl(but I think it was spelled differently) My ex was a navigator in the Air Force and it was the name of a star.

Yes, thanks for your comment on my name. It was given to me during my elder's rite of passage. Can also be translated star flower, connected to source, radiating omni directionally. I was given a choice of how to spell it Shala, or Shalah, for some reason I chose Shalah. I found out recently that when sounded with intention, ah ~ flows out to touch all your relations with compassion's radiant light.

Wow does that give me something to grow into or what?

I am living in Chile, South America and a book for me and my people is very expensive when we have to import from the USA, Canada or Europe.

Helloooooooooo from England!!

I am Kate, a maad Vet Nurse (like your vet technicians). I lurve my bunnies and many other animal species too. Most of all, I love helping people and animals and hate to see anyone in any sort of pain, either emotionally or physical.

I have been doing QT for about 12 months now and am learning about Supercharging as we can now get Alain's book here. I am busy working towards getting my practitioner status, but need a few more humans to work on!! hehe

May everyone feel my warm glow of energy and may I grow with the experiences I learn from on this forum.
