I am a Reiki Master/Teacher and two of my students and I had ordered the QT package with the 4 dvd's and book. We have watched and practiced the dvd's and are now looking for a workshop to get "certified". Do we now take the basic workshop, or is that what we just did??
The training for QT is a little confusing....if the dvd's we watched and practiced were the basic workshop then how do we get certified??
Any insight into this would be appreciated.
Blessings,
Karen

If you go to the main QT website and click on Practitioners you will see a button for "becoming a practitioner". Click on that and it lists the requirements.

Kvouge - Definitely, you should go to the how to become a practitioner link, but just to give you an overview: You need to have at least one LIVE Basic Workshop under your belt. You also need a second Workshop which can be a Video Interactive Workshop. So you've completed one of the two workshops required.

I'm assuming you're aware that for the Video Workshop to count, the two participants (NOT the facilitator, of course) have to send $90 to QT Inc., and you will each receive an official QT Certificate of Completion.

There are other requirements, mostly minor - but the biggest remaining requirement is 60 hours worth of documented QT sessions. A session can be for 5 minutes or an hour or whatever - just mark it down on the form (which you can get at the becoming a practitioner link).

Again, I just wanted to give you an overview - you need to read the section Jody mentioned for complete instructions.

Yes, you can't just view the video and call it a "class." Your participation has to be documented by the QT Office for it to count toward certification. This means that whoever hosted the video workshop has to send the official roster of participants and the fees to QT. The office will then issue the certificate.
