My son has had an ability for many years now to touch people with his hands and heal their pain, not always but a big percentage of success.

My question is can he legally make an income from this in the State of Nj, if so what is required.

I hate to be so blunt but that's my way.

Hello there -- Each state has its own regulations about this type of work. Each state has different requirements for certifications and licenses, permits and documentation, legal age to work, many things.

One way to find out some answers would be to look at the list of Certified Practitioners in NJ or any other state you are curious about, and call or write to them and just chat about it.

How old is your son, and is he certified in any modality, or hold licenses? These days, you need the piece of paper on the wall to do most anything legally, in any state, if you are charging money for it. We do not diagnose and we don't treat...and if we say we are, we are practicing medicine without a license, which is a felony in every state.

You are asking the right question, and I wish your son, and you, the best...checking within your state about rules and requirements is the way to start. First, know the requirements, then systematically go about fulfilling them. Keep records.

My son is in his 30s, presents himself real well, great diction, great posture, great communications skills, very good looking and a real talent for making people feel at ease. He was born with a real gift in his hands. He is presently out of work and is looking for an income.
