This is one of my favorit excerpts from A Course in Miracles:

"I am here only to be truly helpful. I am here to represent Him Who sent me. I do not have to worry about what to say or what to do, because He Who sent me will direct me. I am happy to go whereever He sends me, because I know He goes there with me. I will be healed as I allow Him to teach me to heal."

It's still a great guide for me in all of the healing or teaching work I do.

No problem. Quotes from this oft-cited spiritual gem have been so popular over the last 10-15 years that more people are familiar with those who cite it, talk or write about it than they are the book itself, so I thought this would be a good opportunity to give it the credit.

It's not an easy book to read, but, IMO, it remains the purist and most applicable written spiritual guide I'm aware of: free of dogma or behavioral proscriptions, it simply clarifies our situation and offers to teach us how to learn to hear, listen to, and follow the Inner Voice for the sake of our own healing, and further, that to teach what we have learned by means of that Voice and our relationships is the only way to realize true healing of our True Selves.

After 17 years of indepth reading, pondering its contents, and attempting to practice its principles, I'm still in awe of the profundity of this book; of its spiritual purity, power, depth, and the consistent and unequivocating nature of its message compared with any other holy book I've had the opportunity to study. For me, it is truly a modern miracle in and of itself. It isn't for everyone, but if you are in search of a better way to live, you could do far worse than to buy a copy and start reading!
