The full Tibetan Dumo Heat meditation is as follows:
This energy sea, this Tan T'ien, from below the navel to the soles of the feet, full of my Original Face; where are the nostrils on that face? This energy sea, this Tan T'ien, from below the navel to the soles of the feet, full of my True Home; what need of a message from that home? This energy sea, this Tan T'ien, from below the navel to the soles of the feet, full of the Pure Land of Consciousness only; what need of outer pomp for this Pure Land? This energy sea, this Tan T'ien, from below the navel to the soles of the feet, full of the Amida Buddha of heart and body; what sermon would this Amida be preaching? Lex |

No I just haven't left |
Huh. The tan tien is the crown chakra if I remember.
Anyway, doing as such builds a puff around the lower body--"below navel to sole of feet"--and it purifies the animal energies, without actually connecting to them or activating them. Bery nice. |

The Universe and I combine together |
Nope
Dantian or Tan t'ien (Chinese: Dāntián 丹田; Japanese: Tanden 丹田; Korean: 단전 DanJeon 丹田; Thai Dantian ตันเถียน) which literally means "cinnabar or red field" and is loosely translated as "elixir field". It is described as an important focal point for internal meditative techniques and refers specifically to the physical center of gravity located in the abdomen three finger widths below and two finger widths behind the navel. There are 3 main Tan Tiens--upper, middle, and lower. Upper Tan Tien is in the head, at the level of the 3rd eye, Middle Tan Tien is in the center of the chest, and Lower Tan Tien is as Pinky said, in the abdomen. There is a point on top of the head--Bai Hui, which, in qigong, opens to our connection to the Universe.

This brings me to a question I've been having. You, Alain, Richard, and many others have so much detailed knowledge of various energy worikng things, that it is obvious you were doint it long before you ever did Quantum-Touch. How do you manage to isolate the various ways of doing it to be only Quantum-Touch? Can you/ How do you think this affects differently for someone who hasn't got their "pathways" built up, or rather their field is full of blocks and holes? Since you obviously had your fields strong before ever doing QT. |

Thank you for the whole piece Lex!! That is truly beautiful.
Thank you also Jody for the explaination of the Tan Tiens, too. So, a Tan Tien is an energy center point like a chakra? Wings of Light, Nancy http://nancyobotanicals.com Visualization is a key which unlocks the door of your dreams metamorphosing with reality. |

Small Fry, each energy technique has certain ways that you focus and or breathe. So that defines what technique you are doing. Ultimately though, it's all energy. The end result is (health, usually) is the important thing, so whether you combine techniques or not really doesn't matter. Whatever works!
It seems that blocks/holes in a person's energy doesn't necessarily affect how they can do QT. Especially since QT doesn't use our own energy. If you can focus your intent and breathe, you can do QT, no matter how your personal health/energy is. Herbal Purity, I wouldn't call a Tan Tien a "point"; it's more of an area or focus. It's something that can be cultivated or developed. Chakras are from the yogic/Indian viewpoint, while Tan Tiens are from the qigong/Chinese viewpoint. I see them more as different ways of looking at the body's energy. Kind of like comparing apples and oranges. You can eat them both, but they're two different fruits. This message has been edited.
