Walks in Light |
I was asked to post my poem we used as a meditation yesterday, so here goes.
SEA'S DANCE Waves upon the shore wash over this precious land; The rhythm of her voice gently rocking in my mind; Splashing, crashing to and fro, to and fro; Again and again over brother rocks and sister sand. Above her flowing, liquid body a seagull flies this night; Dipping and ascending, flapping and a gliding, high above the sea; A little cloud begins to form, as Sea feeds her Father Sky. And with a smile of approval, Grandma casts her subtle light. It is a perfect union, a delicate life in balance. Dolphins and the whales look to Her, for their very breath. Sea lives her life in glory, her bounties full and plenty; And all that dwell upon the Mother are grateful for this dance. By Nancy O'Fraley 2006 This message has been edited.
