1. News from Quantum-Touch

As many of you know we moved our office from Kauai, Hawaii to San Luis Obispo, CA in order to provide better service. Thanks for your patience as we work hard to keep up with our expanding workload.

Name Correction from June 22nd Newsletter: The article titled Message Board Discussion: Quantum-Touch Principles was contributed by Dr. John and Dr. Janet Garrett, Certified Quantum-Touch Practitioners. We apologize for the error, and appreciate all you do to share QT with others.

Quantum-Touch would like to take a moment to recognize all of our Certified Quantum-Touch Practitioners and Instructors. As of July 5th, 2005 we now have over 324 Certified Practitioners and over 93 Certified Instructors around the world. You make an incredible difference! We also want to recognize those of you who are providing the time and space in your homes, offices, and other venues to facilitate our Interactive Video Workshop Program.

2. Do Try This At Home

Here is an interesting little experiment you can try at home. (To be honest, I don't know if this will really work, but I've heard that it would.) Take some cooked white rice (or other leftover) and place some in two clean glass jars and close the lids. Run energy into one of the jars on a daily basis and then watch what happens when mold grows. I'm told that the results can be dramatic.

When you do it, have the "untreated" jar at least 4 or 5 feet away from you when you run the energy, and keep the jars at least 4 or 5 feet apart from each other while the mold is growing too. The jars should have the same lighting and temperature during this time. If you do this, please take photos of each jar before and after from the same angle each time, and with the same lighting, then send in the results. This should be fun, and yes, please send us the photos.




3. Caf� Sessions

For those who have not read my book, I call casual sessions that you spontaneously give "Caf� Sessions". I had the opportunity to give three of these sessions this week. Two were on golf instructors who were practicing on the driving range. We began talking and one told me he had a bad ankle that was bothering him for months. After about 4 or 5 minutes of QT he went to hit golf balls again. His comment was "I can't hit the ball well now that the ankle doesn't hurt." I responded and told him that life is filled with problems. The second session was on the second instructor who had sciatica pain, which disappeared after a few minutes of QT. The third session was on a salesman. As we were waiting for paperwork to arrive I ran energy into his long-standing back pain. By the time the papers had arrived his back was fine. It is truly a joy to be able to offer this gift to others on a spontaneous basis. I guess this is a perfect example of that lovely phrase about offering random acts of kindness.




4. Melting Ice with Quantum-Touch

I was called upon to Reiki my daughter's horse instructor's race horse. He wanted it to have more energy to finish his first race. I suggested that I would add some Quantum Touch to the session as it was slightly subtler than Reiki, so he agreed. We arranged that I would go to his stable at 11.30 the next morning for the session. My daughter and I arrived on time to be greeted by a slightly frustrated chap. We had had a rather severe frost and the water pump to the well had frozen so there was no water for the 60 horses. "Why don't I give it some Quantum Touch?" I asked. "Do you think it will work?" Who knows with this work anything can happen". So that's exactly what I did. I ran energy into the pump and all around the pipes leading from the well head to the pump. I did a fire breath to enhance the energy and intuition told me where to put my hands. I could feel the ice melting beneath my hands and I was getting rather hot as I ran the energy. After about fifteen minutes the chap came back, he turned on the pump and it fired up and the water flowed. I completed the hour session on the horse that seemed to lap it up. I have yet to find out how the horse did but I am sure it would do its best. One final thing, I suggested that I send the jockey some Quantum-Touch as well to that the two (rider and horse) we balanced as one - I will let you know the outcome.

5. "How Did You Do That?!" - QT Baffles Medical Staff

Hi ALL,
Just thought I would tell you about a wonderful healing that happened today. I was at a dancing competition with my son and niece. It was very competitive and everyone was putting their all into the dancing in the hope of qualifying for the next round. One young lady who had been dancing exceptionally well slipped and fell on some water that had been spilled in the toilet area. She was in floods of tears not only because of the pain but also because she knew she would be unable to complete the competition. She was carried to the St. Johns Medical Center where they diagnosed a severe sprain. Swelling and bruising were also evident by this time and she was treated with ice packs. Her ankle was strapped and she was given a letter to visit the X-Ray Department at her local hospital. I saw her about 10 minutes after the incident sitting with her leg elevated and still crying. Her mum was trying to reassure her there would be other competitions. I asked what had happened and when she explained I asked if she would let me try to ease the pain. Both mother and daughter looked at me as if I had dropped in from the planet Mars but by this time I had sandwiched the ankle and was already running energy. I worked on her ankle for no more than 20 minutes using the "where dose it hurt technique" and to her surprise the pain went completely. She took off the bandage and was squealing with excitement to see the swelling had gone and there was NO bruising to be seen at all. To say everyone was gob smacked is an understatement. Mum ran to find the St. Johns attendant who had diagnosed the sprain and bandaged the ankle. He just looked with total disbelief and then went off to bring his boss who of course wanted to know "how did you do that?" I was happy to explain. His face also told me he thought I had arrived via a space ship. He did however ask me to join his band of helpers at the medical post. I declined politely but did tell him I would happily teach him and his pals to run energy.

The young lady in question went on to complete her final competition and took FIRST PLACE!!!
I went home with a big grin on my face. It always amuses me to see the reactions of folks when I do what Richard calls 'Cafe Sessions'.

6. Quantum-Touch Resolves Back Pain

I've been so wishing I had a story to share and then this morning at work in walked my co-worker, stiff, short of breath and in pain. She had injured her back and was having problems moving and breathing. She came to work hoping I would be there as I had just shared Quantum Touch with her and gave her a book.
She sat down and I started immediately working on the pain, without doing a sweep (and I worried about not sweeping), but it worked anyway. When we started she was at a level 8 out of 10 for pain. Thirty minutes later she was feeling better and was breathing deeply. I felt that a rib might be out of place and causing the short painful breaths. I had just read on the QT website about someone trying a breathing technique to bring more energy to their hands. I imagined the energy coming in the top of my head and out my feet into roots in the earth, then back the other way pulling the energy to my head, then down my arms into my hands. It really energized me as did the breathing. After 30 minutes we stopped and she said the pain was about .75, between zero and one. I had her walk and she walked normally, no longer stiff. She was so pleased!

I had just watched "How to See and Perceive Energy" and had been experimenting with seeing energy. During the session this morning I closed my eyes and saw energy patterns as I worked on her back. It was a circle of energy that was slowly spinning left a quarter turn, then back to the right a quarter turn. In the center there was no movement, so I knew we weren't done yet. As I finished working on her back the energy visually showed me we were done as the circle of energy was finally spinning in the middle and sucking inward toward her back. It was a cool experience and made me remember that I had seen energy before and not realized what I was looking at.
When I finished working on her my hands had a different energy in them. It wasn't light and tingly like I've always experienced before, it was heavy twingings (not unpleasant) and it stayed with me a long time. It felt as though my hands had been asleep and were just awakening to what they can really do. I can see there are still many levels of energy to experience and I gladly wait to experience whatever is next.

7. I Have Praying Hands Again!

I have suffered with fibromyalgia since I was 3 (1962), my entire face was burned severely be melted paraffin in 1964, I became diabetic at age 10 (1969), I lost my only child due to severe endometriosis at age 18 (1978), and I developed very aggressive DuPuytren's Contracture (a condition where nodules develop in the palms of your hands and soles of your feet which attach to the tendons controlling fingers and toes, then start pulling "in"). I have had many doctors comment that I am "the worst" they've seen regarding the fibromyalgia and DuPuytren's. There is much more but this is enough for you to imagine I live in great pain and limited mobility, all the time.

I attended a Basic QT workshop a little over two weeks ago. I am having trouble with "am I doing this right?" because there is nothing I can see or feel when I run energy, except sometimes it feels like a ball between my hands. However, I got proof a couple of days ago on how miraculous this really is. I don't know what made me try, but I was able to press my hands flat together (as if you were saying a prayer) and my palms touched -- without using much force at all. I have not been able to touch my palms to each other, or lay my hand flat on a table, since 1989. I've had eleven surgeries to remove DuPuytren's nodules and my palms are mostly scar tissue now. My entire hands move easier and the web spaces around my thumbs, where bunches of scars are, are becoming softer and more pliable.

There is absolutely nothing that I have done except travel to the QT workshop. Now that I have experienced some healing I want MORE!

8. Walking Without a Crutch

Dear Richard. All I can say is Wow, Wow, and Wow again! A week or two ago I received my workshop materials and I had 3 people in mind to start the workshop with. So we did a lot of talking and at the 11th hr (literally) everyone agreed that we'd start the next day. We followed your instructions and practiced, practiced, practiced. We all felt the energy run and we worked on each other and chased pain. I must say that's a strange experience. Anyway, the next day only 1 lady and myself could get together (we had watched the 2nd video late at night) and wanted to do some more. Here I must say that she has had her hips out of alignment and walks with a cane arm brace, she has a lot of arthritis, spine is out and shoulders uneven also. So we were taking a hot tub treatment and just before we went in she said, "Oh I want you to measure my hips." So ok, down I go, and said, "Well, I think this hip is slightly higher." And she said, "Yep that's the one." So I put my hands and thumbs in the right spots and ran the energy. It felt like, well it's hard to describe, sort of like lumpy jelly moving around and I thought "Oh that's weird!" and measured again and said, "Well they look even now." So we carried on.

The next day she went to her specialist and he measured her 4 times before he believed his eyes and said "Have you been doing anything different?" That night we were going to a class and when I got there and walked towards the building, the door opened and she walked out MINUS THE CRUTCH, held her arms out and did a little dance. I know you know the reaction I had, so we hugged and kissed and jumped around, saying we knew it, we knew it. So thank you again. I've asked her to log her experience as I'm sure this is just the beginning of a long and wonderful road of helping people.

9. Heart Size and Function Corrected

Last September I was found to have an 11mm enlargement of my heart also causing left ventricular dysfunction reducing the left function to 25 to 30%. With regular self treatment of Quantum-Touch running the energy into my heart and also using the 12 color meditation from the supercharged QT work, combined with medication prescribed by a doctor my heart returned to normal size and function with the doctor saying that my ECG & ECO CARDOIORAPH are as perfect as they get. This took me seven months. I treat my heart almost every night.

10. Dear Doubting Thomas

Hi All,
Just wanted to let you know of all the "Fantastic" results I have been experiencing from the "Quantum-Touch" Workshop DVD set I purchased several months ago.

1. My 76 year old mother has vertebra's L-4 and 5 that overlap and her sciatic nerve going down her right leg has caused her so much pain that she was using a wheel chair to go any farther than from the bedroom to the bathroom. We had taken her to 5 different doctors to see if they could help. Even the Dallas Cowboy's doctor said he wouldn't touch her. He told her if he made the slightest error during surgery, it would kill her. Needless to say, she has been in a lot of pain for the last 4 years. After a 2 hour session, taking a break about every 20 minutes, she stood up and did a short tap dance on her carpet! We could actually feel the bones move back into place. Her last doctor told her not to have another x-ray because she had so many it was dangerous. Instead she should get an MRI. Well, that cost a pretty penny, so it will be a while before we can afford to do that again. We will have it done for verification to the doubting Thomas' out there, in the future.

2. My daughter was having severe stomach pains and was asking me to take her to the emergency room about 3 weeks ago. I asked her to let me do some QT on her and in less than 20 minutes the pain was completely gone. She has had 7 miscarriages, most in the 1st 3 months of pregnancy. However, in 2000, she carried a boy to the 6th month and the very morning the doctor told her all was well and she would carry him to full term. That night her water broke and we lost him. This was a horrible and heart wrenching experience, as you can imagine. On the same day I did the QT for her stomach, my instincts told me I could help to heal her broken heart as well. I told her I wanted to do QT on her heart for Gavin's death. Within 10 minutes, she was crying and said, "Mom, it's like I could feel arms reach around me and hug the pain away. I don't know how to explain it. I love him and miss him, but I don't ache in my heart like I did before. I know I'll never hurt like that again." Yes, we shared goose bumps and tears of joy for about 30 minutes.

3. Wednesday night after church, the minister of my church was about to take a long road trip (the following Sunday after services) for a retreat for the church and was hurting in her lower back. I offered to do QT, but she needed to leave right then and said if she was still hurting Sunday, she would let my husband and I work on her after services before she left. I told her we could do remote that night when he got home from work, and she said that would be great. It ended up being about midnight before we could get started. Harry and I did the exercises to build up our energy and began to send it to our minister. We both just knew it worked, but didn't know for sure until Sunday at church. The minister said, "I don't know what time you two got started, but I woke up in the middle of the night with a Jolt! It didn't hurt, and I fell back to sleep easily and slept better than I have in a long time. I usually go to the chiropractor twice a week and I have felt so good, I haven't been back to see him." She even told us when she got back a week later, she was still feeling great.

4. A friend I met through a poetry site had told me she was a diabetic and her hands had such arthritis that she often couldn't get on the computer to write more poems. I e-mailed her about QT and offered to do remote as I told her about our minister. She e-mailed me about 30 minutes later saying how much better she felt, the pain was gone and she was just waiting for the redness to go away. I told her to go to the QT site for more info, and now she is purchasing the DVD Workshop for herself and her family. She's in Idaho and I'm in Texas, so hands on was impossible for us. She even searched for someone close, and the closest person was 600 miles away!

5. Harry and I have done QT on each other numerous times when we wake up with back aches or other miner discomforts and are amazed at how well and quickly it works. We also have 2 dogs, a cat and 2 birds that we practice on.

With 7 grown children and 7 grandchildren, we are looking forward to sharing it with them as soon as we can get over to see them. They live all over the United States.

If you are a doubting Thomas, I encourage you to just give it a try; you have nothing to lose but the PAIN!!!

I am so impressed with this program that I am looking forward to becoming a "Certified Practitioner" and possibly a teacher for them. What is so amazing is I have seen myself doing this kind of thing since I was about 6 years old. Now I finally have the knowledge so I can full fill that dream.

11. Quantum-Touch and Psychic Abilities

Lloyd and I are QT Instructors and have had many experiences in our workshops where students who were on the verge of opening up to their own psychic abilities were astounded to find that when they ran the energy they opened up significantly. In one example, we taught a woman who is a massage therapist who had been having some "visitations" from the "other side" and was frightened and didn't understand what was happening to her. Within three months of our workshop, she became completely opened up to her gift and is now not only healing with her massage and QT energy, but also helping her clients to work through emotional issues with her new "sight". She can actually look into her client's bodies and "see" what is going on. Most gratefully, she is no longer afraid of her gift. In another example, one of our students called us a few days after a recent workshop to tell us that she was running QT energy with her innate gifts and was experiencing "miraculous" results. This included a man who had had severe trauma throughout his life and was unable to heal emotionally. When she ran QT energy on his heart chakra right after the workshop, he was able to break through 50 years of pent-up emotion and healed his trauma in one session. He is a completely different person now. He had been angry and resentful and is now peaceful, helpful and jovial.

We hear many stories like this where people who are poised to open up to their next level of consciousness do so during or immediately following our QT Basic Workshop. We don't know why this is, and probably will never know, we're just grateful it's happening.

12. EMS Crew Welcomes Quantum-Touch at Accident Scene

This happened awhile back, but it's an important story, so I thought I would share it to inspire others to help in case of emergencies.

Debra and I were traveling home from Atlanta when we came upon an accident that had occurred only a few minutes before. A family was traveling north, with the mother driving, when another car rear-ended them, completely totaling their car in the resulting accident.

The husband and two children escaped injury, but the mother was trapped in the driver's seat. EMS hadn't yet arrived and it seemed like the mother, who was a large woman, was probably going into shock. She did not look well. She had a number of health issues and the stress of the accident was taking a toll.

I decided to climb into the passenger side and use Quantum-Touch on her to help calm her down and stabilize her. After about 15-20 minutes, it was obvious that she was improving dramatically. Then EMS showed up.

I half expected the emergency team to confront me and get me out of the scene, and they did come to inquire what I was doing. I simply told them I was an energy healer and I was trying to help the woman. To my surprise, they said, to paraphrase, "Do whatever you can do, because with her trapped in the car, we can't do anything." They were happy to let me stay there and run energy. In the meantime, the woman had changed so much that as they were taking her medical history, she was very coherent and quickly and easily rattled off all the medications she was taking and gave a complete history of her health and current situation. She seemed to be without pain at this point.

Then the fire truck showed up with the "jaws of life" to cut her out of the car. I stayed with her until the last minute when the team asked me to step out to avoid flying glass. I just continued to run energy long distance. By this time the woman was even joking with the firemen as they cut her from the car. What an incredible change from the time we first found her!

She was soon cut from the car and taken to the local hospital for observation and to be checked out for injuries. We continued our drive home.

The main thing here is that EMS crews, at least this one, are aware of other forms of healing and seem to be happy to accept this kind of help, especially when they have nothing they can do. I've talked with EMS personnel since this accident and they said that it would be a godsend to be able to quickly reduce stress levels and help stabilize accident victims this way. I would encourage anyone in the emergency field to investigate Quantum-Touch and see how it could be of value to them in their work.
